S.T.D by Hark+Hammer will donate a percentage of proceeds of this season's tshirt line to Planned Parenthood
Los Angeles, CA -- HARK+HAMMER, a Los Angeles-based designer women's wear line known for their exclusive silk prints paired with minimalist silhouettes, has announced the launch of a collaboration with renowned cartoonist Sammy Harkham for their Philanthropy capsule collection.
The t-shirt line showcases original artwork with proceeds benefiting various worldwide causes. This season S.T.D. by Hark + Hammer will donate a percentage of proceeds to Planned Parenthood. The collection features four exclusive graphic designs by Harkham.
"HARK+HAMMER's commitment to social responsibility includes giving back to organizations whose work we support while showcasing local and independent artists," said designer Suzie Hamer, Chief Creative Officer for HARK+HAMMER. "To launch our Philanthropy collection with internationally acclaimed artist Sammy Harkham, especially given his position in the world of alternative comics, is an honor. The dark humor of his graphics combined with the seriousness of the mission of Planned Parenthood makes a statement that we believe will be heard, supported, and worn by our customers."
S.T.D. by Hark + Hammer t-shirts are offered with four graphic designs: the fairfax t, the peony t, the killer t, and the boxing t. The short sleeve crew neck tees are crafted in 100% cotton with heavy garment wash and grinding details on the sleeves, neckline and hem for a vintage look in five colors. The msrp is $98 and available on HARK+HAMMER'S website. All the company's apparel is manufactured in the USA.
HARK+HAMMER was established by lead designer Suzie Hamer and fashion mogul Uri Harkham in Los Angeles and launched in 2017. The collection juxtaposes minimalist silhouettes with custom silk prints, creating timeless pieces with a modern, artistic edge. One-of-a-kind fine silk prints are produced in Italy: the collection is designed and manufactured in Los Angeles.
